Happy New Year
To get the year started in social events lets have a MEET AND GREET BBQ. This is a great opportunity for new and old members to get together and gather some idears for the upcoming years event.
WHEN - SUNDAY 30th January from 1100hrs to 1400hrs
WHERE - Colmslie Beach Reserve at the end of Colmslie Rd
This is a link to the location on google maps - its on the South side of the river just to the west of the Gateway Bridge
Colmslie Beach Reserve, Colmslie Road, Murarrie, Queensland
We will have a FREE BBQ and soft drinks for everyone! We'll also have the club marquees there for extra shade as well. A lucky door prizes on the day so get your lucky ticket on arrival will be drawn at 1300hrs.
We would like to emphasise that this is a FAMILY event - your partners, kids, dogs etc are very welcome. The reserve has loads of parking, grassy areas, kids playground and public toilets (clean ones).
Please RSVP on the forum as we would like to get an idea of numbers for shopping purposes. Just put a reply in this thread and we will add you to the list
We are not formally organising a cruise - If people want to form a southern and northern group to cruise to the event together it would be good to see and less people getting lost.
